Deniz Inci

Area of Work

Deniz works as a team assistant for Prof. Dr. Schmidt within the Department of History. At the University of Hamburg, she contributes to the administration of ERC-funded project Taming the European Leviathan, focusing on financial oversight, stakeholder communication, and event coordination.

Deniz holds an M.Sc. in Politics, Economics, and Philosophy from the University of Hamburg and a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from Bilkent University. She has worked in international academic environments, with experience in project coordination, student services, and research support. She is particularly interested in fostering international academic collaboration and supporting socially engaged research in the fields of migration, gender, and public policy.
